Bank of America Corporate Center consists of the Office Tower, Founders Hall and the Corporate Center Parking Garage. As one of the tallest buildings in the Southeast, Bank of America Corporate Center Office Tower rises 871 feet, making it the focal point of Charlotte's skyline. The Office Tower rises 60 stories and has approximately 1,203.000 rentable square feet.
The Corporate Center is located at the corner of Trade and Tryon Streets, known locally as "The Square," which is the historic crossroads of the city and the site of its founding more than 250 years ago. The Corporate Center shares a city block with the North Carolina Blumenthal Performing Arts Center.
The Office Tower's base is dark granite with marble columns at each entrance. Above the base, the building is sheathed with beige granite, which are progressively narrower and thinner at each setback.
The Office Towers crown consists of 384 specially designed rods, varying in length from 12-62 feet and weighing between 800 and 4,500 pounds each. A total of 350 light fixtures light the crown at night.
